Elizabeth Stavreski

Elizabeth has recently returned to Australia after fifteen years working in the UK and Europe across the public and private sector. Her work covered responsibility across procurement, commercial capability, contract management and leading outsourced operations. Elizabeth commenced at the Department of Treasury and Finance, in her role as Executive Director Procurement, in January 2020. In her most recent role prior to joining DTF Elizabeth was responsible for procurement in the largest shared service in the UK responsible. She has been responsible for leading procurements for the building and regeneration of new town centres and construction of rail stations. Across her various roles she has briefed CEO’s of Whitehall departments and Local Councils, Departmental Ministers in the UK and EU and Commercial Boards. Elizabeth was also previously Head of Policy and Standards at the Office of Government Commerce, negotiating procurement policy on behalf of the UK Government in the EU and a senior adviser to the EU and OECD on procurement projects across a number of Eastern bloc countries. She has a Master of Business Administration and Master of Strategic Procurement.
