Large, complex and highly successful implementation in Transport for NSW, Kelly Outsourcing and Consultancy Group
Last year, Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) – the largest transport authority in the southern hemisphere, responsible an annual multibillion-dollar transport budget – engaged Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting Group (KellyOCG) to deliver a managed service provision, Contractor Central, to manage its complex Contingent Labour programme.
The key objective of Contractor Central was to create a single-entry point for multiple contractors, delivering cost savings, refining compliance and risk management, and improving the quality of candidates for hiring managers.
KellyOCG devoted considerable resources to the project design and worked with the key TfNSW divisions including transport shared services, and group IT, along with vendor management system technology partner, Beeline – a key step that ensured success to the project.
Thanks to the robust partnership shown between KellyOCG, TfNSW and its project partners, the positive results have made this one of the most successful procurement consultancy projects in the country. With a contingent labour spend of $600+ million, this managed service provision programme is set to be the largest in Australia. Furthermore, the fully integrated solution, implemented amidst the difficulties created by Covid-19, exceeded targets and expectations becoming the New South Wales government’s most successful managed service provision programme to date.
